Newsletter

I write a monthly newsletter over on Substack about making space for places where beauty and justice meet. Often this newsletter turns into Louisa May Alcott quotes (she was a social revolutionary, friends), essays on liturgical living in the Southern Hemisphere, and the spiritual implications of children’s literatureIf you dig through the archives there’s also a lot of essays on mother-writers in history, and making space for creativity in the midst of motherhood. Along with an essay, for paid subscribers I include a list of links to articles, book recommendations, playlists, or other art that somehow relates to the idea of beauty & justice.

It’s free! But if you’re looking to support my writing habit (and want to see more picture books in the world) consider becoming a paid subscriber. It’s the best way to get me to stop churning out canva images and churning out words instead! 🙂 And there is a really kind community of readers growing over in the comments who are thoughtful, and have great book recommendations.
